Authorities detain the man who wrote anti-Arvind Kejriwal graffiti in the Delhi Metro

Delhi Police has apprehended a 32-year-old individual named Ankit Goyal for allegedly writing threatening messages targeting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at the Patel Nagar and Rajiv Chowk metro stations in the capital.

An FIR has been registered by the Metro Unit of Delhi Police, and an investigation into the incident is currently underway. CCTV visuals confirmed Goyal's involvement in the act.

According to sources, Goyal, a resident of Bareilly, is reportedly well-educated and employed at a prestigious bank. He is not affiliated with any political party and had traveled from Bareilly to Greater Noida for property investment purposes, staying at a luxury hotel during his visit.

While police sources have suggested that Goyal may be experiencing mental health issues, no evidence has been provided to support this claim.

Following the discovery of the graffiti, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of orchestrating the incident, alleging that the BJP is unnerved by the prospect of defeat in all seven constituencies in Delhi in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
