Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, affirmed the current administration's dedication to compiling a comprehensive list of beneficiaries from widespread government recruitments. Against the backdrop of the fervent election atmosphere prevailing during the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has now pledged to create 10 lakh government jobs ahead of the 2024 state assembly elections in Bihar.
On Friday, Bihar BJP chief and Deputy Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, articulated the state government's ambition to fulfill its commitment of providing 10 lakh jobs. This marks the first instance during the ongoing general elections where the BJP has addressed its job pledge in any state.
Setting a timeline for achieving the milestone of ten lakh government jobs, Chaudhary asserted that the target would be met well before the state assembly polls scheduled for 2025. "The Bihar government will uphold Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's promise of offering ten lakh government jobs," emphasized Chaudhary.
In a pointed reference to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, Chaudhary remarked, "This is not Lalu's government where deeds fail to match words." With conviction, Chaudhary reiterated the commitment of Bihar's current dispensation to meticulously compile a roster of beneficiaries from extensive government recruitment drives. "The roster will include detailed information about the beneficiaries, including names and other personal particulars for verification purposes," he added.
Notably, during the Lok Sabha polls campaign in 2024, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav reiterated numerous times how, during his tenure as Bihar's deputy chief minister, he facilitated five lakh government jobs. Even Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has laid claim to the substantial recruitment of teachers within the state education department, personally distributing appointment letters at a prominent event organized by the state government at the Patna Gandhi Maidan recently.
Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav criticized the Nitish Kumar government, asserting that his accomplishments in providing government jobs over 17 months outshine the achievements of the NDA's 17-year tenure at the helm in Bihar.
