Case against ninety-three government employees for failing to attend Lucknow's election duty training

Legal action is being taken against 93 government employees in Lucknow who were notably absent during election duty training. In adherence to the Election Commission of India's directives, FIRs are set to be filed against these individuals, as per the orders issued by district official Suryapal Gangwar.

The training sessions for polling staff, crucial for the smooth conduct of the Lok Sabha general election process, are deemed mandatory by the district election officer. In fact, the second training session for polling staff, aimed at completing the election process, took place recently at Jayanarayan (KKC) PG College.

The significance of training cannot be overstated, especially given the forthcoming voting phases. Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to hold voting across 80 seats in 7 phases. In the upcoming fourth phase, slated for May 13, polling will occur in various constituencies including Shahjahanpur, Kheri, Dhaurahara, Sitapur, Hardoi, Misrikh, Unnao, Farrukhabad, Etawah, Kannauj, Kanpur, Akbarpur, and Bahraich.
