Four individuals have been apprehended and incarcerated in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, following a shooting incident captured on video that circulated widely on social media. The footage depicts four masked assailants entering a businessman's office and discharging firearms at him.
Authorities revealed that the altercation originated from a previous dispute between the businessman, Jamil Ahmed, and the perpetrators at a gym. A case has been lodged in connection with the incident.
The entire sequence of the shooting was captured by CCTV cameras. According to Ahmed, he was present in his office around 1 pm on Saturday, accompanied by two others, when the masked intruders abruptly stormed into the premises.
In the footage, two individuals can be observed entering the office initially, followed by two more shortly thereafter. Ahmed retaliated by hurling various objects at the intruders, prompting them to hastily exit the office. Another individual in the footage can be seen cowering in a corner of the room.
The attackers reportedly discharged three to four rounds before making their escape. The entire episode unfolded in less than a minute, as evidenced by the surveillance footage.
