"Coming to BJP office tomorrow," was Arvind Kejriwal's challenge following the arrest of his aide

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of attempting to dismantle the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) by incarcerating its leaders and workers. Kejriwal's statement came after his aide and former personal secretary, Bibhav Kumar, was arrested by Delhi Police in connection with the alleged assault of AAP MP Swati Maliwal.

Kejriwal announced that he, along with AAP leaders and workers, would march to the BJP headquarters, challenging the ruling party to arrest them en masse. He conveyed this message via a video on his X account, asserting that the BJP is targeting AAP leaders, including Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and potentially Raghav Chadha, Saurabh Bharadwaj, and Atishi.

Kejriwal expressed his frustration, stating, "PM Modi ji, you're playing this game of jail, putting Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, Arvind Kejriwal in jail one by one. I, with my party MPs and MLAs, will come to the BJP headquarters tomorrow at 12 pm. Whoever you want to put in jail, you can arrest all of them at once."

He criticized the BJP for its alleged vendetta against AAP, highlighting the party's efforts in providing quality education and healthcare through initiatives like mohalla clinics, which he claims the BJP cannot replicate. "I was wondering what our fault is. Our fault is that we provided quality education to the poor in Delhi and they (the BJP) can't do it. Our fault is that we created mohalla clinics in the city, provided medicines and healthcare to the citizens. They can't do it and so they want to stop the mohalla clinics," Kejriwal said.

In response, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva dismissed Kejriwal's remarks as a drama and questioned his silence regarding the alleged assault on Swati Maliwal. Sachdeva demanded that Kejriwal address the incident and clarify who was responsible for the misconduct against the woman MP. "Stop doing this drama. We are asking you just one thing – you did not break your silence even six days after your woman MP was beaten up at your residence... Tell us who is responsible for the misbehaviour with the woman MP. Why have you not broken your silence over it?" Sachdeva questioned.

The confrontation highlights the ongoing tensions between AAP and BJP, with both parties accusing each other of political manipulation and failing to address critical issues.
