Exclusive: People will vote against lies, says Akhilesh Yadav in criticism of the BJP

In an exclusive interview with Aaj Tak/India Today TV, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack against the BJP, highlighting people's growing discontent with the party ahead of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Yadav emphasized that people's anger against the BJP would reach its peak by the seventh and final phase of the elections. He pointed out several unfulfilled promises made by the BJP, including pledges of double income for farmers and the creation of two crore jobs annually for young people. He also criticized the BJP for its handling of various issues, such as paper leaks in exams and the alleged mishandling of police recruitment processes.

Accusing the BJP of deception and falsehood, Yadav asserted that people would vote against these lies. He highlighted the disappointment among the public as the truth behind the BJP's promises emerged.

Furthermore, Yadav addressed the controversy surrounding AstraZeneca's Covid-19 vaccine and alleged donations received by the BJP from vaccine companies. He also commented on Arvind Kejriwal's release from Tihar Jail and the remark made by Kejriwal regarding the end of Yogi Adityanath's career.

Yadav's statements reflect the opposition's criticism of the BJP's governance and electoral promises, suggesting a tense political atmosphere as the Lok Sabha elections progress.
