Tragic news indeed. A family's journey turned fatal in Andhra Pradesh's Krishna district as their car collided with a lorry on Monday. The victims, identified as Swaminathan (40) from Tamil Nadu, and his children Rakesh (12), Radhapriya (14), and Gopi (23), lost their lives in the accident. Swaminathan's wife Sathy (28) sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Vijayawada Government Hospital for treatment.
The collision occurred while they were traveling from Kovvur to Tamil Nadu, near a petrol pump in Krishna district. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police promptly responded, and efforts were made to clear the road to prevent further traffic congestion. The Highway Patrol team has also joined the investigation.
Authorities have registered a case, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the precise cause of the crash. It's truly a heartbreaking incident, and my thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the victims during this difficult time.
