In a car-truck incident hours before the wedding, the groom and three others perish



Tragedy struck in Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi on Friday when a groom and three others lost their lives in a devastating car accident. The unfortunate incident occurred as the groom, Akash (24), along with his relatives, were en route to the wedding venue in their car.

The wedding procession was en route to Chhapra when tragedy struck just 10 kilometers away from the bride's residence, as their vehicle collided with a truck.

The impact of the collision caused the CNG tank of the car to catch fire and eventually explode. Tragically, Akash Ahirwar (25), his younger brother Ashish (20), their 7-year-old nephew, and the driver, Jaikaran, were trapped inside the vehicle and succumbed to the flames.

Upon receiving the distress call, a fire brigade promptly arrived at the scene and managed to contain the blaze.

Authorities are currently engaged in efforts to apprehend the truck driver, who fled the scene following the accident, as confirmed by a police official.
