Two men tragically lost their lives on Friday morning in Kochi when the motorcycle they were riding collided with two Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) buses near Palarivattom. The incident occurred around 6:15 am when their two-wheeler was positioned behind a KSRTC bus and was unexpectedly struck from behind by another bus.
The collision resulted in a fatal sandwiching of the motorcycle between the two buses, leading to the immediate demise of both riders. Police swiftly responded to the scene, and the driver of the bus responsible for the collision was promptly apprehended.
Additionally, some passengers aboard the KSRTC bus involved in the collision sustained minor injuries. As per police reports, inquest proceedings are currently underway, with further details about the victims to be disclosed following the completion of the investigation.
