In response to Sam Pitroda's comment, the PM dares the DMK: Will you break with the Congress

Prime Minister Narendra Modi didn't mince words as he addressed the recent controversy sparked by Congress leader Sam Pitroda's divisive remarks. Speaking at an election rally in Rajampet, Andhra Pradesh, PM Modi questioned whether Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin would sever ties with the Congress over Pitroda's comments, which Modi deemed detrimental to "Tamil culture and pride".

Expressing his disdain for Pitroda's statement, Modi labeled it as "shameful" and called attention to its divisive nature. He challenged the DMK chief and other Congress-affiliated leaders in states like Karnataka and Telangana to take a stand against such accusations, particularly those undermining the identities of various Indian communities.

In his critique, Modi highlighted Pitroda's remarks categorizing people based on their geographical origins, including likening those in the East to the Chinese and those in the South to Africans. He questioned the acceptability of such statements and called for accountability from the Congress leadership.

Taking a swipe at Rahul Gandhi, Modi pointed out Pitroda's close association with the Congress leader, referring to him as "shehzada's philosopher and guide". He emphasized that the Congress should refrain from ridiculing Indians, especially when lacking substantive issues to address.

In conclusion, PM Modi warned that the country is attuned to the divisive rhetoric of the Congress and urged political leaders to prioritize unity and inclusivity over divisive narratives.
