According to earlier statements by Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, Chadha's eye condition required urgent attention, with concerns about potential complications that could lead to blindness. However, the preventive surgery reportedly went well, alleviating the immediate risks associated with his condition.
Chadha's presence in the UK for medical treatment temporarily sidelines his involvement in election campaigning, but it is expected that he will return to India once he has sufficiently recovered.
