JDS leader HD Revanna was admitted to the hospital on a complaint of unease

Janata Dal (Secular) (JDS) leader and Holenarasipura MLA HD Revanna was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday after complaining of uneasiness. Initially taken to Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital in Bengaluru, he was later shifted to Victoria Super Speciality Hospital for additional scans.

Revanna received initial gastric treatment before being sent to the Special Investigation Team office from the hospital.

Recently, Revanna was arrested by Karnataka Police's Special Investigation Team (SIT) in connection with a kidnapping case filed against him. The JD(S) legislator was apprehended from his father and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda's residence.

Revanna stands accused of kidnapping and unlawfully confining a woman whom his son, Prajwal Revanna, allegedly sexually abused.

Meanwhile, the seven-day period requested by Prajwal Revanna, the NDA Lok Sabha candidate from Hassan, to appear before the SIT probing sexual abuse allegations against him concluded on Tuesday. However, there has been no indication of his return from abroad.

The 33-year-old JD(S) MP and grandson of former prime minister H D Deve Gowda reportedly traveled to Germany immediately after news emerged that the Karnataka State Commission for Women's Nagalakshmi Chowdhary had written to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah seeking an investigation into explicit videos allegedly depicting Prajwal engaging in sexual abuse.

A lookout notice and a Blue Corner notice have been issued for Prajwal at all airports in India.
