JD(S) MLA HD Revanna leaves custody in an abduction case, saying she will come out clean

Karnataka JDS MLA and former minister HD Revanna, recently released on bail in a kidnapping case, has strongly denied the allegations against him. He expressed confidence in being acquitted of the charges, emphasizing his faith in the judicial process and divine intervention.

Revanna, arrested by a Special Investigation Team on May 5 in connection with a kidnapping case linked to sexual abuse accusations against his son, MP Prajwal Revanna, expressed gratitude towards the legal system upon his release from Parappana Agrahara prison in Bangalore after spending six days in custody.

Asserting his innocence, Revanna reiterated his trust in the judicial system and vowed to abide by its decisions. He was greeted by supporters upon his release, and he visited his father and temples thereafter.

The case stems from a complaint by a woman's son alleging sexual abuse by Prajwal Revanna. The woman was allegedly abducted to prevent her testimony against Prajwal, who is currently abroad, evading arrest. Interpol has issued a Blue Corner Notice against him following the release of explicit videos purportedly showing the abuse, triggering an SIT investigation.
