A devastating accident occurred on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan's Dausa, claiming the lives of three members of a family from Ahmedabad who were en route to Haridwar for the final rites of a loved one. According to reports from the police, the tragedy unfolded when a cow unexpectedly appeared in the path of the family's car. They pulled over to the roadside and were standing outside their vehicle when a truck collided with them from behind, resulting in the tragic loss of three lives.
The family, on their way from Ahmedabad to Haridwar, faced this unforeseen calamity on their journey. Jawan Singh, an on-duty police officer, provided details of the incident, stating that the collision occurred on the expressway in Dausa.
Visuals from the scene depicted the wreckage of the vehicle, surrounded by law enforcement personnel. Recounting the harrowing experience, a grief-stricken family member, Neela Makwana, expressed the heartbreaking loss of her brother, sister-in-law, and uncle in the accident. She also revealed that her sister and niece sustained severe injuries and were in critical condition.
Following the accident, the injured were promptly rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, while the bodies of the deceased were transferred to the mortuary of Bandikui Hospital, as confirmed by Jawan Singh.
