Regarding the Prajwal Revanna controversy, Amit Shah asked Priyanka Gandhi, Why no action

Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized the Congress-led Karnataka government's inaction in the sex scandal involving Karnataka MP Prajwal Revanna during a press conference in Assam. Revanna, the JD(S) MP and NDA's Hassan Lok Sabha candidate has been suspended from his party in connection with the scandal. Shah emphasized the BJP's support for an investigation into the matter and questioned Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi about the government's delay in taking action.

Shah highlighted that the case pertained to law and order in Karnataka, where the Congress is in power, implying that the state government should have acted. He urged Priyanka Gandhi to inquire about the delay from the Karnataka Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.

Responding to Shah's comments, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar questioned why BJP leaders were silent on the matter. He challenged BJP leaders to address the issue and criticized former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy's reluctance to acknowledge the allegations against his family.

Prajwal Revanna's suspension from the JD(S) is pending the completion of an investigation by a Special Investigation Team (SIT). The scandal emerged when explicit videos allegedly involving Revanna surfaced on social media, accompanied by allegations of sexual harassment from a woman who worked in his household. A case has been registered against Prajwal Revanna and his father, HD Revanna, based on the woman's complaint.
