Rhiti Tiwari, the daughter of BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, made a significant move by joining the party on Saturday. Expressing her surprise at the development, Rhiti shared that she had anticipated such a step in her political journey to occur in the next 10 to 15 years. She credited BJP chief JP Nadda for recognizing her potential and facilitating her entry into the party fold.
"(I'm) shocked. I was not aware of God's plan. I didn't think it would happen today or anytime soon. I thought this was in the cards for me after 10 to 15 years. But the (BJP) president saw something in me. I will make sure that I don't disappoint anyone," she conveyed to news agency PTI.
The 22-year-old, currently engaged in NGO work, revealed her passion for music, being a singer and songwriter, and expressed her aspirations to contribute to society as a social worker.
Her father, Manoj Tiwari, holds the position of MP from North East Delhi since 2014, and is contesting from the same constituency in the upcoming elections. As Delhi gears up for voting on May 25, with seven Lok Sabha seats in the fray, all eyes are on the political landscape as candidates vie for victory.
