Six people are killed when a car collides with a truck that is making an incorrect U-turn on a Rajasthani highway



The tragic incident on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan claimed the lives of six members of the same family after their car collided with a truck that was taking a wrong U-turn. The accident occurred near the Banas river bridge in Sawai Madhopur district, resulting in the deaths of Manish Sharma, Anita Sharma, Satish Sharma, Poonam, Santosh, and Kailash.

CCTV footage captured the negligence on the part of the truck driver, who made a sudden U-turn, causing the car, traveling at high speed behind it, to collide. The truck driver fled the scene before the police arrived, leaving behind the tragic aftermath.

In addition to the fatalities, two children from the same family sustained injuries in the accident and were referred to Jaipur for treatment. Efforts are underway to apprehend the absconding truck driver, identified through the CCTV footage.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Deputy Diya Kumari expressed their condolences and directed officials to provide all necessary assistance to the affected family. They also emphasized the need for road safety measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
