The'miracle' in Indore, Surat, according to Rajnath Singh, shows people's devotion for BJP

Union Minister Rajnath Singh recently addressed the political landscape, particularly highlighting significant occurrences in Surat and Indore, which he described as "a miracle in Lok Sabha elections." At a rally in Mandhata, Madhya Pradesh, in support of BJP candidate Gyaneshwar Patil, Singh characterized the Congress Party as a "sinking ship" and underscored the populace's affinity for the ruling BJP.

Singh reflected on the past instances where Congress candidates were elected unopposed, contrasting them with the recent turn of events. He remarked on the BJP candidate from Surat securing victory unopposed, while the Congress nominee in Indore withdrew, extending support to the BJP. These occurrences, Singh asserted, exemplify the profound regard the public holds for the BJP, which continues to surge.

In response to Congress' assertions that such developments posed a threat to democracy, Singh questioned the party's previous uncontested victories, challenging whether similar concerns were raised then. He derided the Congress as a "sinking ship with a hole," asserting its inevitable demise, beyond rescue by any force.

Singh highlighted the recent shift of Congress' Indore candidate to the BJP, emphasizing it as indicative of the diminishing influence of Congress, echoing Mahatma Gandhi's earlier call for the party's dissolution post-independence.

Singh also criticized Rahul Gandhi's proposal for a "wealth survey" and Sam Pitroda's advocacy for an inheritance tax, deeming them unacceptable to the populace and perilous according to global economists.

Furthermore, Singh reiterated the BJP's commitment to simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, pledging necessary amendments to existing laws for its realization.

At another campaign rally for BJP's Khargone candidate, Gajendra Singh Patel, Singh condemned the Congress government's handling of Jammu and Kashmir, alleging stunted development and growth due to special status conferred under Article 370. He credited the Narendra Modi government for fulfilling the BJP's promise of revoking Article 370, emphasizing the strides made in poverty alleviation under Modi's leadership compared to Congress' historical shortcomings in this regard.
