Two cooperative bank security personnel were discovered deceased in Kerala

A distressing incident unfolded in Kerala's Thrissur on Monday, where two security staff members of a cooperative bank were discovered deceased. The victims, identified as Aravindakshan and Antony, both hailing from Vellanikkara in the district, were found under tragic circumstances near the Vellanikkara Co-operative Bank branch within the Vellanikkara Agricultural University campus.

Initial investigations revealed Antony lying in a pool of blood with apparent head injuries, suggesting a violent altercation, while Aravindakshan was discovered deceased nearby, having purportedly consumed poison in an act of suicide.

The nature of the incident suggests a potential conflict resulting in one individual's demise, followed by the tragic act of self-harm by the other. However, the police are actively investigating the matter to ascertain the precise sequence of events and underlying causes.

Upon receiving the report, a police team led by the Ollur Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) and Mannuthi Circle Inspector (CI) promptly responded to the scene, initiating the necessary procedures and assessments.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, with authorities hopeful that this process will shed light on the circumstances surrounding the tragic deaths. As investigations continue, the community remains saddened by this unfortunate turn of events, awaiting further clarity on the matter.
