Video: Dog bites and assaults a girl in a Noida housing community elevator

The dog attack menace persists as another incident unfolds in a posh Noida society, where a young girl was attacked by a pet dog inside an elevator. CCTV footage captured the entire ordeal, revealing the chilling moment when the girl was bitten by the dog.

In the footage, the girl is seen alone in the elevator when the doors open on a certain floor, allowing a brown pet dog to rush in and attack her. A man, presumably the dog's owner, quickly follows and manages to remove the dog from the lift to prevent further harm to the child.

After the dog is removed, the girl can be seen holding her arm and visibly in pain as the elevator doors close.

The incident occurred in the Lotus-300 society in Sector 107, Noida, on May 3, although the footage only surfaced on Tuesday and has since gone viral on social media.

This incident follows closely on the heels of another dog attack, where a five-year-old girl suffered serious injuries after being attacked by two pet Rottweiler dogs in a park in Chennai.

These incidents underscore the growing concern over dog attacks, prompting the Central government to recommend a ban on various dog breeds, including Rottweilers, Pitbulls, American Bulldogs, and others deemed dangerous. This recommendation follows a surge in severe and fatal attacks by dogs of these breeds.
