Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed his support for coalition governments, emphasizing that their primary focus should be the welfare and development of the state. He noted that coalition governments have been successful in the past and highlighted the Shiv Sena-BJP government as an example.
Shinde exuded confidence in the ruling Mahayuti government's performance in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, predicting a victory in 45 out of the 48 seats in Maharashtra, including all six seats in Mumbai. He attributed this success to the combined efforts of the Shiv Sena, BJP, and NCP (Ajit Pawar) coalition.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shinde credited Maharashtra's progress to a combination of "Modi magic" and effective governance. He highlighted the cooperation between the central and state governments in implementing various development schemes, emphasizing the importance of infrastructure development for state progress.
Shinde criticized the previous Maha Vikas Aghadi government, accusing it of obstructing the implementation of welfare schemes and delaying projects. He stated that the current government has removed obstacles and resumed stalled projects, focusing on accelerating development in the state.
