Wife Sunita declares, "Victory of democracy," in response to Arvind Kejriwal receiving temporary bail



Sunita Kejriwal expressed her gratitude and joy over the Supreme Court's decision to grant interim bail to her husband, Arvind Kejriwal, in connection with the money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor policy. She described it as a victory of democracy and attributed it to the prayers and blessings of millions of people.

In a post on a microblogging site, Sunita Kejriwal exclaimed "Hanuman ji ki Jai" and thanked everyone for their support and blessings. She also indicated her intention to be present at Tihar Jail to receive Arvind Kejriwal upon his release.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) also hailed the decision as a miraculous blessing from Lord Hanuman to Arvind Kejriwal. Party members expressed optimism that Kejriwal's release would mark a turning point in the country's political landscape.

AAP leaders, including Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, and MLA Durgesh Pathak, welcomed the Supreme Court's order, emphasizing the resilience of truth and the imminent end of dictatorship.

The Supreme Court's decision to grant interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal pertains to allegations of corruption and money laundering in the implementation of the Delhi government's excise policy for 2021-22, which has since been scrapped.
