In a significant move to curb dangerous driving stunts, police in Jhalawar district, Rajasthan, arrested a man named Ismail Choudhary on Friday. Ismail was known for performing risky stunts with his Mahindra Thar car on highways and posting videos of these stunts on Instagram. His stunts included standing on two moving Thar cars and climbing to the top of a moving car, which garnered substantial attention on social media.
Jhalawar Superintendent of Police Richa Tomar expressed concern over the growing trend of such dangerous stunts, highlighting the potential for severe accidents. To tackle this issue, the police launched a campaign to identify and apprehend individuals involved in creating and sharing such content.
A special team, led by Police Station Officer Kotwali Chandrajyoti Sharma and supervised by Additional Superintendent of Police Chiranjilal Meena and Circle Officer Jhalawar Harshraj Singh Khareda, was formed to track and take action against these offenders. This team successfully identified Ismail Choudhary and another individual named Mohammad Asif, also known as Bhoot, who was involved in making similar videos.
Ismail was arrested, while Mohammad Asif remains at large. The police are continuing their efforts to apprehend Asif and prevent further dangerous stunts on the roads.
