After the Andhra office was demolished, Jagan Reddy accuses Chandrababu Naidu of having a vendetta

An office belonging to the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), led by former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, was demolished on Saturday morning in Vijayawada's Tadepalle district.

Following the demolition, YSRCP quickly accused the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), led by current Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, of engaging in "vendetta politics."

YSRCP asserted that the demolition proceeded despite the party having approached the High Court to challenge the preliminary actions taken by the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA). The court had issued an order to halt all demolition activities.

In a post on social media platform X, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his outrage, stating, "In Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu has elevated his oppressive actions to a new level. A dictator has bulldozed the nearly completed central office of the YSR Congress Party at Tadepalli." A rough translation of Reddy's post in the regional language indicated that he believed the High Court's orders were blatantly disregarded and that law and justice had vanished from the state.

Reddy further condemned Chandrababu Naidu, suggesting that the violent incidents occurring after the elections were indicative of the regime's approach for the next five years. He declared, "Chandrababu, who is responsible for the bloodshed due to the ongoing violent incidents, has sent a violent message about the nature of his governance through this incident. These threats and violent actions will not make YSRCP bow down or turn back."

He added, "We will fight vigorously on behalf of the people, for the people, and with the people. I urge all democrats across the country to denounce Chandrababu's misdeeds," Reddy tweeted.

In a related event on June 15, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) demolished several structures on the pavement adjacent to Jagan Mohan Reddy's residence at Lotus Pond in Hyderabad, Telangana. These demolitions occurred ten days after Reddy stepped down as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

A senior official from GHMC explained that the civic authorities removed the structures abutting the compound wall to facilitate tiling work on the pavement at Jagan's residence. The structures were being used by security personnel, the official told news agency PTI.
