Bharti Airtel has announced a price increase for its mobile tariffs effective from July 3, 2024. The company emphasizes that this adjustment is crucial to maintaining an Average Revenue per User (ARPU) above Rs 300, which is necessary for sustaining profitability and investing in advanced network technologies and spectrum. Airtel aims to keep the price hike minimal, with an increase of less than 70 paise per day for entry-level plans to reduce the financial impact on budget-conscious customers.
Reliance Jio has also followed suit, raising the prices of its prepaid and postpaid plans, with the changes also taking effect on July 3, 2024.

- **Rs 199 Plan:** Increased from Rs 179. Includes 2GB of data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.
- **Rs 509 Plan:** Increased from Rs 455. Offers 6GB of data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day for 84 days.
- **Rs 1999 Plan:** Increased from Rs 1799. Includes 24GB of data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day for 365 days.
- **Rs 299 Plan:** Increased from Rs 265. Offers 1GB of data per day, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.
- **Rs 349 Plan:** Increased from Rs 299. Includes 1.5GB of data per day, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.

These new tariffs will apply across all circles, including Bharti Hexacom Ltd, and will be reflected on Airtel's official website starting July 3, 2024.
