Amid a slap fight, Chirag Paswan supports Kangana Ranaut, saying that no one has the right to beat someon

Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) president Chirag Paswan has voiced his support for actor-politician Kangana Ranaut following an incident at the Chandigarh airport where she was allegedly slapped and abused by CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur. In an exclusive interview with IndiaTodayTV, Paswan condemned the act, emphasizing that there should be no place for physical violence or abuse in a civil society.

Paswan stated, "It is extremely wrong. I have always been a supporter of freedom of expression, and I am talking about both sides. Kangana put up her point, and she (CISF constable) could also have done the same thing. I have always said there should absolutely be no place for abuse, physical assault, violence in a civil society." He added that if the constable had an objection, she should have voiced it firmly but respectfully, instead of resorting to physical assault.

Chirag Paswan, who is the LJP (RV) MP elected from Bihar's Hajipur, also mentioned his interaction with Kangana Ranaut at the NDA meeting held on Friday. Before their political careers, both Ranaut and Paswan had acted together in the romantic comedy movie ‘Miley Na Miley Hum’ in 2011.

Kangana Ranaut, who recently won the Lok Sabha election from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi, was about to board a flight to Delhi on Thursday when the alleged incident occurred. The CISF constable accused Ranaut of "disrespecting farmers." The constable has since been suspended, and an FIR has been registered against her.
