A tragic incident occurred in Andhra Pradesh's West Godavari, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old man and serious injuries to another individual after their motorcycle collided head-on with a car.
The heart-wrenching accident was captured on a CCTV camera. The footage shows the car crashing into the motorcycle, causing both riders to be thrown into the air before violently landing on the road due to the impact.
The collision occurred recently when the 20-year-old motorcyclist attempted to overtake an autorickshaw at a high rate of speed. While manoeuvring around the autorickshaw, a car approaching from the opposite direction collided with the motorcycle.
Meanwhile, another motorcycle nearby lost control and veered into a drainage ditch at the side of the road.
Witnesses to the horrifying scene immediately rushed to aid the victims. Tragically, one person succumbed to injuries at the scene, while the other was critically injured and subsequently transported to the hospital for urgent medical attention.
Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to this devastating accident.
