N Chandrababu Naidu, the chief of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), took oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth term on Wednesday, in a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several top BJP leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, JP Nadda, and Nitin Gadkari. Naidu's new cabinet consists of 24 ministers, with 17 of them being newcomers. The cabinet is diverse, including three women, eight leaders from backward classes, two from Scheduled Castes (SC), one from Scheduled Tribes (ST), and one Muslim member.
