Narendra Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India for the third time on Sunday, accompanied by the induction of 72 ministers into his Cabinet, including 11 from NDA allies.
Out of these 72 ministers, 43 have served three or more terms in Parliament, and 39 have previously held ministerial positions in the Union government.
The Modi 3.0 Cabinet also features several former chief ministers: Narendra Modi (Gujarat), Shivraj Singh Chouhan (Madhya Pradesh), Rajnath Singh (Uttar Pradesh), Manohar Lal Khattar (Haryana), Sarbananda Sonowal (Assam), H D Kumaraswamy (Karnataka), and Jitan Ram Manjhi (Bihar). Among them, five are from the BJP, while Kumaraswamy and Manjhi are from BJP allies JD(S) and Hindustani Awam Morcha, respectively.
Additionally, 34 leaders have prior experience in state legislatures, and 23 have served as state ministers.
For an inclusive Modi 3.0, the Cabinet includes leaders from various social groups: 27 from OBCs, 10 from the Scheduled Caste community, five from Scheduled Tribes, and five from minority communities.
