For Britain's Armed Forces Day, a military-themed portrait of King Charles III was released

A new photographic portrait of King Charles, dressed in military uniform, was unveiled on Saturday to commemorate Britain's Armed Forces Day.

In the photograph, King Charles is depicted wearing his Field Marshal No 1 Full Ceremonial Frock Coat adorned with medals, swords, and decorations.

The King, who holds the position of Commander-in-Chief of the armed services, resumed public engagements early last month following his diagnosis with cancer in February.

The release of this portrait coincided with a video message from Queen Camilla to members of the armed services, praising them as "a source of inspiration, reassurance, and pride."
