Following the spectacular success of 'Heeramandi', Sonakshi Sinha is set to headline 'Kakuda' alongside Riteish Deshmukh, Saqib Saleem, and Aasif Khan. Scheduled to premiere on Zee5, the film's inaugural poster was revealed on June 21.
In 'Kakuda', Sonakshi Sinha, Riteish Deshmukh, Saqib Saleem, and Aasif Khan join forces for the first time under the direction of Aditya Sarpotdar, known for 'Zombivili' and 'Munjya’. The film's initial artwork showcases Sonakshi in a state of alarm, accompanied by Riteish and Saqib, with a ghostly presence hovering in the background.
'Kakuda' promises an exhilarating and comical journey set in the eerie village of Ratodi. This fusion of horror and humour guarantees spine-chilling thrills and moments of uproarious laughter.
The project also marks the maiden collaboration between Sonakshi and Saqib. Interestingly, Saqib's sister, Huma Qureshi, shares a close friendship with Sonakshi.
'Kakuda' is slated for release on July 12 exclusively on Zee5.
