On Sunday, June 16, a tragic incident occurred at a water park in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where a man lost his life while descending a slide.
The victim, Mohit, a resident of Modinagar in Ghaziabad and a manager at a private bank in Delhi, had visited the water park located on the Delhi-Dehradun Highway with three friends that afternoon. During his descent on a slide within the park, Mohit suddenly lost consciousness. His friends immediately sought medical aid for him but alleged that no medical personnel or ambulance was available onsite.
In a bid to save him, Mohit was rushed to the nearest hospital in their vehicle, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident, with Mohit's body undergoing post-mortem examination. Preliminary examinations by the police indicated no visible signs of injury on his body.
Meanwhile, Mohit's family has expressed anguish, suggesting that timely medical assistance within the water park premises could have potentially saved his life.
