In a concerning development, an unidentified individual in Haryana's Rewari was captured on CCTV footage committing a burglary at a local shop on Saturday.
The Rewari Police reported that the perpetrator entered the shop owned by Bajrang Goyal and absconded with nearly two lakh rupees from the cash box along with other valuable items.
The CCTV footage revealed the sequence of events, showing the suspect entering the premises and departing after committing the theft.
Recalling the unfortunate incident, Bajrang Goyal stated, "I had left for the market after closing my shop around 4:30 pm. Upon my return, I discovered that the cash box had been tampered with, and approximately Rs 1.80 lakh in cash was missing. The CCTV footage has captured the perpetrator entering the shop."
After the occurrence, the police promptly registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and initiated an investigation to apprehend the perpetrator.
