NEET row: UP candidate's result was uploaded with the incorrect application number

Amid the controversy surrounding the NEET UG results, a new issue has surfaced involving the National Testing Agency (NTA). The NTA reportedly uploaded the result of Ayushi Patel, a NEET aspirant from Lucknow, under the wrong application number. This follows the NTA's previous statement that Patel's NEET result was not released because her Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet was torn and damaged.

Patel had earlier alleged a "NEET scam," asserting that based on the answer key provided by the agency, she should have scored 715 out of 720 marks. However, the result linked to the incorrect application number showed that she scored only 335 marks, which contradicts her claims.

In a viral video, Patel explained that when she attempted to check her results, an error message appeared, stating, "Your results have not been generated." She also mentioned receiving an email from the NTA indicating that her results were not released due to a damaged OMR sheet.

In response to these claims, the NTA issued a clarification denying that any such email was sent to students.

The discrepancy has sparked further scrutiny and raised questions about the accuracy and reliability of the results and the handling of the examination process by the NTA.
