Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his gratitude to the people of India for their support in the Lok Sabha polls and acknowledged the widespread use of the slogan 'Modi Ka Parivar' on social media as a mark of affection towards him. He derived strength from this gesture during the election campaign. However, with the election concluded and the NDA securing a majority for the third consecutive time, PM Modi requested people to remove the slogan from their social media profiles.
In a message on X, PM Modi highlighted the unity conveyed by the slogan and thanked the people for their support. He emphasized that while the display name may change, the bond as one family striving for India's progress remains strong and unbroken.
The slogan "Modi Ka Parivar" gained prominence after PM Modi used it during a public meeting in Telangana in response to remarks made by RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav. Following PM Modi's announcement, many individuals, including top BJP leaders like Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda, adopted the slogan on their X profiles.
