Earlier, Shabana Azmi had shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram, commending Kartik Aaryan for his role in Kabir Khan's film "Chandu Champion." She highlighted his portrayal with admiration, noting his portrayal as having a child-like determination coupled with a charming smile that prevented any hint of arrogance. She also praised Vijay Raaz for his effective portrayal as the coach. The film, based on a true story, was particularly meaningful as Khan got to witness it alongside his family during his lifetime, which Shabana Azmi expressed with gratitude during a special screening organized by Excel Entertainment.
