A team from the Food Safety and Standards Association of India (FSSAI) conducted an inspection at a Blinkit warehouse located in Telangana's Medchal Malkajgiri district. The findings revealed various violations of food handling and storage regulations, painting a picture of disorganization and unhygienic conditions within the premises.

2. Lack of trained personnel: The absence of Food Safety Training and Certification (FOSTAC) trainees was noted, indicating a gap in staff training.
3. Improper food handling: Food handlers were observed without necessary protective gear such as headgear, gloves, and aprons, raising concerns about food safety practices.
4. Medical certification: Medical fitness certificates for food handlers were missing, indicating a lapse in health standards compliance.
5. Improper storage: Cosmetic products were stored alongside food items, posing a risk of contamination.
6. Licensing issues: The license of Whole Farm Congruence Trade and Services Pvt Ltd did not comply with the Food Safety and Standards (FSS) Act, specifically regarding the address mentioned on the label, warranting a notice for correction.
7. Expired licenses: Products manufactured by Kamakshi Foods were found to have expired licenses, leading to the seizure of VSR products including Suji, raw peanut butter, Maida, Poha, Besan, and Bajra.
8. Infested products: Suspected infested whole farm Ragi flour and Toor dal were seized, with samples sent to a laboratory for further testing.
Authorities have announced that notices will be issued, and appropriate action will be taken following regulations to address these violations.
