- **Current High Temperatures**: Despite the dip, temperatures remain high, with some parts of north Rajasthan, south Haryana, and north and southeast Madhya Pradesh recording temperatures between 43-45°C. Many parts of Punjab, remaining parts of Haryana, Delhi, south Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana, and south interior Odisha are experiencing temperatures between 41-43°C.
- **Hottest Locations**: Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest temperature at 46.2°C, followed by Sirsa in Haryana and Ganganagar in Rajasthan at 45.4°C.

- **Rajasthan**: Light to moderate rain expected in Bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer, and Jodhpur divisions. The maximum temperature will likely stay below 45°C.
- **Isolated Rainfall**: Light rainfall with thunderstorms and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) in Punjab and Haryana (June 3-6), Uttar Pradesh (till June 5), and Rajasthan (June 3).

- **Bihar, Konkan Goa, and Odisha**: Hot and humid weather likely in isolated pockets.
- **Heatstroke Incidents in Odisha**: 20 confirmed deaths due to heatstroke, with 99 cases reported in the past three days.

### Monsoon Progress:
- **Advancement**: Southwest Monsoon has advanced into remaining parts of the Lakshadweep area, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and parts of Karnataka, Rayalaseema, and Andhra Pradesh. Further advancement is expected in more parts of Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh over the next three days.
- **Rainfall in Other Regions**:
  - **Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand**: Isolated to scattered light rainfall with thunderstorms and gusty winds over the next five days.

  - **East and Northeast India**: Fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms expected over the next seven days in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim.
