A routine FedEx courier delivery recently took a chaotic turn when two thieves raced to a resident's doorstep and engaged in a fistfight over a package that had just been dropped off.
The incident, which was captured on doorbell camera footage and shared by the homeowner, has since gone viral on social media. However, the specific date and location of the incident remain unclear.
In the video, a FedEx delivery vehicle pulls up to a residence, the delivery person leaves a package on the porch, and then drives away. Almost immediately, two individuals, seemingly following the delivery truck, sprint towards the house. They simultaneously attempt to grab the package, resulting in a physical altercation. Eventually, one thief manages to run away with the package, while the other chases after him.
Social media users quoted the homeowner, who expressed his concern: "Not really worried about the phones, but what if this guy would have hurt one of my family members? Is this really what the world has come to?"
He further questioned, "Also, how did they find out these phones were being delivered? Something fishy is going on here."
The clip was shared by the homeowner on Facebook, showing the men leaping out of their cars and racing towards the package in a frenzied attempt to steal it. The caption attached to the viral post read: "Absolute insanity."
