Two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces after they opened fire in Saida Sukhal village near the International Border (IB) in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday night. The terrorists had targeted the village, resulting in one civilian being injured. Security forces launched a search operation, during which the two terrorists were neutralized.

Anand Jain, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, stated that the operation had not been called off as there may be more terrorists hiding in the area. The security forces remain vigilant and continue their search operations.
Over the past three days, at least four terror attacks have occurred in the Reasi, Kathua, and Doda districts of Jammu and Kashmir. These attacks have resulted in the deaths of 11 individuals, including a CRPF jawan and two terrorists. Ongoing search and combing operations are being conducted in the Poonch, Rajouri, and Reasi districts.
