When the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite launches in India on June 24, here is what it would cost

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is on the horizon, with the company officially confirming its upcoming launch. The next-generation OnePlus Nord phone is set to be unveiled on June 24, which is now less than a week away. In the lead-up to the event, OnePlus has disclosed several specifications, and additional details have leaked online. However, the burning question remains: how much will it cost?

The official price of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite will be announced on June 24. Nevertheless, we can speculate on its potential pricing in India based on previous Nord models. The recently launched OnePlus Nord CE 4 smartphone falls within the sub-Rs 30,000 category. Specifically, the base model is priced at Rs 24,999, while the top-end variant costs Rs 26,999. Historically, the Lite series in the OnePlus Nord lineup is positioned below the standard OnePlus Nord CE devices in terms of price.

Therefore, it is anticipated that the Lite version will be priced around Rs 20,000, similar to its predecessor. There is also a possibility that OnePlus might raise the price by a few thousand rupees, reflecting any significant upgrades. For context, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite was launched at Rs 19,999 and is currently available for Rs 17,499 on Amazon.

Looking at the broader OnePlus Nord series, the original OnePlus Nord 3 debuted in India with a starting price of Rs 33,999. When the OnePlus Nord 4 eventually launches, it is expected to be priced under Rs 35,000, considering the OnePlus 12R, a mid-range premium phone, is sold at Rs 39,999. The brand likely aims to maintain a clear price gap between these models, so the starting price for the OnePlus Nord 4 could range between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000.

Ahead of the launch event, OnePlus has confirmed several specifications for the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite. The device will feature a 5,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging technology. Additionally, it will boast a 120Hz AMOLED display equipped with Aqua Touch technology, akin to the OnePlus 12R smartphone. Aqua Touch ensures the screen functions effectively even when wet. The display will offer a peak brightness of 2,100 nits and includes 5W reverse charging capabilities. Further details about the device are yet to be disclosed by the company.
