Abu Dhabi-Indian DelhiGo flight was rerouted to Muscat because of a technical problem

IndiGo flight 6E 1406, traveling from Abu Dhabi to Delhi, was diverted to Muscat due to a technical issue, according to an IndiGo spokesperson. The spokesperson stated that the aircraft would resume operations after the necessary maintenance is completed.

"IndiGo flight 6E 1406, operating from Abu Dhabi to Delhi, was diverted to Muscat due to a technical issue. The aircraft will be back in operation after necessary maintenance. The customers have been offered hotel accommodation in Muscat, and alternative arrangements are being made to facilitate their journey to their destination. We regret the inconvenience caused to the passengers," the spokesperson said.

In a related event, a global outage in Microsoft applications recently disrupted air services in India and abroad, leading to IndiGo canceling up to 200 flights across the country. "Flights are canceled due to the cascading effect of the worldwide travel system outage, beyond our control. We truly appreciate your patience and support," IndiGo mentioned in a statement.

Additionally, on July 19 (Friday), an Air India flight AI-183 from Delhi to San Francisco was diverted to Russia's Krasnoyarsk Krai due to a technical issue. Air India explained that the flight made a precautionary landing after the cockpit crew detected a potential issue in the cargo hold area.
