An elderly biker in Nagpur perishes after being hit by a speeding bus



The impact of the accident threw the elderly cyclist to the ground, leaving him severely injured. He later succumbed to his injuries. A 63-year-old man, Ratnakar Dixit, died after a speeding school bus collided with his bicycle in Nagpur's Hudkeshwar area. The tragic incident occurred on Monday and was captured on CCTV camera.

Dixit was traveling from Chhota Tajbagh towards Tukdoji Chowk when the bus struck him at around 8:30 am. The collision threw him to the ground, causing severe injuries. Despite efforts, he later succumbed to these injuries.

In response to the incident, Hudkeshwar police promptly arrested the school bus driver. The investigation is ongoing, with further details awaited.

In a separate incident on Tuesday, a car crashed into a railing and flipped multiple times near Panjara village on Koradi road, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and critically injuring three others.

Additionally, last month, a severe accident on the Samruddhi Mahamarg, also known as the Mumbai-Nagpur expressway, resulted in the deaths of seven people following a collision between two cars.
