An unidentified elderly man, estimated to be between 65 and 70 years old, tragically died after being struck by a train on the outskirts of the city. The incident, which was reported by the Government Railway Police (GRP), took place on Tuesday between the Bibinagar and Ghatkesar railway stations. The man's body was subsequently discovered hanging from the locomotive of an empty rake, a shocking sight that was captured and broadcast by local television channels.
The GRP investigation official who visited the scene provided more details about the incident. According to the official, the man was trespassing on the railway tracks when he was struck by the empty rake, leading to his instant death.
