Arvind Kejriwal experienced five blood sugar drops and an 8.5 kg weight loss: AAP

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has lost 8.5 kg and his blood sugar level has dropped below 50 mg/dL five times while in jail, according to AAP leader Sanjay Singh. During a press conference, Singh claimed that the BJP-led central government was conspiring to cause Kejriwal a "serious disease," calling the situation "highly worrisome."

Kejriwal has been in Tihar Jail since April 1 after being arrested by the ED and the CBI in connection with the liquor policy case. Singh stated that Kejriwal's weight was 70 kg when he was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21, and it has since dropped to 61.5 kg. He suggested that the constant weight loss, without any tests being conducted, could indicate a serious ailment.

Additionally, Singh noted that Kejriwal's blood sugar level has dropped below 50 mg/dL five times, which could lead to a coma. He questioned why these health issues were being inflicted on Kejriwal.

The Supreme Court granted Kejriwal interim bail on Friday in the case registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), but he remains in jail due to his arrest in a corruption case being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Singh criticized the situation, alleging that the CBI fabricated a case against Kejriwal to prevent his release, thus endangering his life.
