Due to constraints, offices at Bandra Kurla Complex are remote for the Anant-Radhika wedding

Several offices in Mumbai's upscale Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) have instructed their employees to work from home until July 15 due to traffic diversions and restrictions on general vehicle entry, coinciding with the grand wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Anant, the son of entrepreneur Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, will marry on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, with celebrations continuing until July 14.

Hotels around BKC, such as ITC, The Lalit, and Taj, have been mostly booked by the Ambanis for their guests and team, leading to a significant surge in hotel occupancy and prices in Mumbai. Reports indicate that rooms in two luxury hotels in BKC are being offered for as much as Rs 1 lakh. Hotels like Trident and Oberoi in Mumbai are fully booked from July 10 to July 14, according to their official websites.

The wedding, expected to be a star-studded event, has invitations extended to prominent figures from Bollywood, Hollywood, top business leaders, and sports personalities. The Ambanis hosted a 'mameru' ceremony, a traditional Gujarati wedding event, on July 3. Pop star Justin Bieber performed at the couple's sangeet ceremony on July 7, entertaining guests with his popular hits such as 'Baby', 'Peaches', and 'Love Yourself'.
