Godman's counsel says the Hathras stampede was a scheme, not an accident

AP Singh, the lawyer representing Narayan Sakar Hari, has made serious allegations regarding the July 2 stampede at the satsang organized by his client. According to Singh, the stampede was not an accidental occurrence but a premeditated conspiracy. He claimed that during the Satsang, 15-16 individuals with covered faces were present and allegedly sprayed a toxic gas into the crowd before fleeing in a car. Singh asserted that this act was part of a plot to frame Narayan Sakar Hari, also known as Bhole Baba.

In a media briefing, AP Singh presented receipts showing clearance obtained from the police, fire, and traffic departments, suggesting that proper permissions were in place for the event. He called on the police to seize CCTV footage from the incident, which he believes could be crucial in identifying the perpetrators behind the alleged conspiracy.

Singh emphasized that the incident should be treated as a case of murder rather than an accident, highlighting the severity of the situation. Despite the Uttar Pradesh Police arrested nine individuals, including volunteers associated with the Satsang, Singh claimed that his client, Dev Prakash Madhukar, voluntarily surrendered in Delhi where he was undergoing medical treatment.

Notably, Narayan Sakar Hari himself has not been named as an accused in the FIR and has reportedly been untraceable since the tragic incident.
