Police issue a warning against disseminating terrorists' videos that feature Saif Ali Khan

The Jammu and Kashmir Police issued a warning on Monday against sharing a "propaganda video" created by the Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). This video, which features Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, is reportedly 5 minutes and 55 seconds long and includes a poster of the Bollywood film "Phantom."

Using the micro-blogging platform X, the police stated that the video was released online around 2 pm on Monday and cautioned people against forwarding it. They emphasized that anyone who receives the video should report it to the police, providing the sender's telephone number along with the date and time of receipt. Government officials are instructed to report any receipt of the video to their seniors via text message.

The police advisory highlighted that forwarding this video is an offense under sections 13 and 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

Jaish-e-Mohammed, the group responsible for this video, is known for its activities in Kashmir and was behind a recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district that resulted in the deaths of an Army officer and three soldiers. Following the attack, the Kashmir Tigers, a shadow group of JeM, released another purportedly brutal video, which the Indian Army has dismissed as doctored and propaganda by Pakistani terror handlers.

So far this year, nearly a dozen terror attacks in six districts of Jammu have resulted in 27 deaths, including those of 11 security personnel, a village defense guard, and five terrorists.
