Nita Ambani added a personal touch to the magnificent outfit she wore for her son Anant Ambani’s 'Shubh Aashirwad' ceremony in Mumbai on July 13. Designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, the ensemble featured the names of her children and grandchildren.
The outfit, a zardozi ghagra, showcased intricate embroidery inspired by the architecture and temples of Kashi. The designers highlighted that the hand-embroidered zardozi ghagra expressed their admiration for the divinity of temple architecture.
Nita Ambani's bejeweled choli was adorned with hand-embroidered jhumkas, and elephant motifs were crafted on the net-based blouse's back. The blouse featured the names of her children – Isha, Anant, and Akash – and her grandchildren – Prithvi, Veda, Aadiya, and Krishna – embroidered in Hindi.
Prithvi and Veda are the children of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, while Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal's twins are Aadiya and Krishna, born in 2022.
Nita Ambani complemented her outfit with royal emeralds and diamonds.
Several other outfits she wore during Anant’s wedding festivities were also designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
Anant Ambani married Radhika Merchant in a grand ceremony at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on July 12. The 'Shubh Aashirwad' ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with global celebrities, business tycoons, spiritual leaders, and politicians. Following the ceremony, a wedding reception called ‘Mangal Utsav’ was held on July 14, with another reception party scheduled for today.
