The Gujarat Chief Minister's Office is recognized by ISO 9001:2015 for its timely and high-caliber operations

The Chief Minister's Office (CMO) of Gujarat has achieved a significant milestone by receiving the ISO 9001:2015 certification for the sixth consecutive cycle from 2024 to 2026. This certification, awarded by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), recognizes the CMO's commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and citizen-centric service delivery.

Gujarat's CMO stands out as the only Chief Minister's Office in India to have continuously held ISO certification since 2009 when it was initially awarded during Narendra Modi's tenure as Chief Minister. The certification underscores the CMO's adherence to global benchmarks for operational excellence, punctuality in service delivery, and effective management practices.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification reflects the CMO's dedication to implementing sustained reforms and innovations in public services. It acknowledges the successful continuation of Gujarat's state-level online grievance redressal program, 'SWAGAT' (State Wide Attention on Grievances by Application of Technology), and its robust performance in ISO audits.

During the certification ceremony, which was attended by officials from the Certifying Agency Bureau Veritas and Bhavin Vora, Director of Technocrat Consultants, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel expressed confidence in the CMO's ability to meet public expectations through efficient governance and timely execution of development initiatives.

Bhupendra Patel also attributed the CMO's success to the legacy of Narendra Modi, recognizing his ongoing commitment to delivering exemplary public service. The ISO 9001:2015 certification for the sixth cycle reaffirms Gujarat CMO's leadership in setting standards for administrative excellence and service delivery in the country.
